Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how SocialMedia, operated by Yosdo, collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when you use our website, platform, and connected Facebook or Instagram features.
Last updated: April 5, 2026
1. Information We Collect
We may collect information you provide directly to us, such as your name, email address, billing details, account credentials, and any messages you send to our support team.
If you connect a Facebook Page, Instagram account, or other social media profile through Meta's APIs, we may also receive limited account data such as page or profile identifiers, usernames, permissions granted to our app, content metadata, publishing data, and analytics or insights made available through the platform.
We may also collect technical information automatically, including IP address, browser type, device information, log data, and general usage information related to how you access and use our services.
2. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the SocialMedia platform.
- Allow you to connect and manage your social media accounts.
- Create, schedule, publish, and analyze social media content.
- Communicate with you about your account, support, or updates.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Facebook and Instagram Data
When you authorize our Facebook app, we access only the information and permissions necessary to provide the features you request. This may include managing connected pages, preparing posts, publishing approved content, and reviewing performance metrics.
We do not sell Facebook or Instagram data. We use that data only to deliver services requested by you and to support your use of the platform in accordance with Meta platform policies.
How to delete your Facebook or Instagram data from SocialMedia
If you want us to delete personal data that we hold in connection with your use of our Facebook app or Instagram integration, send an email to contact@yosdo.com with the subject line "Data deletion request — Facebook/Instagram" (or the equivalent in your language).
Please include enough detail for us to identify your account, for example:
- The email address associated with your SocialMedia account, if any.
- Your Facebook profile name or the Facebook Page(s) you connected, if applicable.
- Any other information that helps us match your request to the correct data.
We will process verified requests and delete or anonymize the relevant data within a reasonable period, typically within 30 days, unless we are required to retain certain information by law. You can also remove our app's permissions at any time in your Facebook account settings; that does not automatically delete data already stored on our systems, so please email us if you want that data removed as described above.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in the following circumstances:
- With service providers that help us operate our platform.
- When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
- To protect our rights, users, systems, or prevent fraud or abuse.
- As part of a merger, acquisition, or business transfer, if applicable.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.
If you disconnect a social account or request deletion, we will delete or anonymize applicable data within a reasonable period, unless we are legally required to keep certain records.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, update, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information. You may also revoke Facebook permissions at any time through your Facebook account settings.
To make a privacy-related request, please contact us using the email address listed below. For Facebook- or Instagram-related deletion specifically, follow the instructions in Section 3 ("Facebook and Instagram Data").
8. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
10. Contact Us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or our handling of personal information, you can contact us at contact@yosdo.com.
